The Provision of The Vocational Training on SEWING SKILL, I think it is the right Skill for Cambodian Women why? Because due to our Cultural and social 95 percent of Cambodian women they have the top duty of looking after their children and working as home only 5 percent that working outside the house, so the sewing skill is very easy to work at home and can make more profit to support the family and they also can have enough time to stay with children. They use this skill at their home by opening the home business and small business for the free time at home.
Now, many girls and women have been working factories and textile companies at Phnom Penh, Takeo, Kom Pong Speur and Kandal Provinces which based on Sewing Skill. actually, they can make some money but they have to leave their hometown or families to stay there. Sometimes, they faced a lot of problems in life because they safety, security, health, hygiene, food, and social welfare.
So, if they(women) have their specific skill(Sewing) they can open sewing shop at their hometown or they get marry they can use some of their house for using their sewing for making the profit that they can to two in one time; sewing and looking after children.
Life and Hope Association is strongly committed to providing this skill to the young women and girls who from the remote areas or countryside to empower and promote the women life to be better in the future.
