29 December 2015 Park Hyatt Siem Reap & LHA Sewing School of Life and Hope Association Damnaks' laymen and laywomen, and students' parent. It was a warm congratulation to all our students. which fully funded by Park Hyatt Siem Reap Hotel and Spar celebrated Graduating Ceremony for closing the promotion 11th and offering sewing machine to all successful students on ten months of the promotion under respectful honoring guest of Venerable Nal Chhum, the Honoring President of LHA, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap City and participated by local authority, NGOs partners, Company and Shop Owners, all Project Coordinators, Pages' Girls, War
During this celebration, Ms. Koy Vanleuk, the Project Coordinator reported the result of school running of 11th promotion that. After ten months of vocational training, 97% of students were already employed by Companies and shops around Siem Reap City with a good wage, 2 decided to make their own business in their hometown, and another decided to continue her training skill to make sure that her skill is well for making change for her life. Besides this, during the promotion time, our school provided 40 lessons of making clothes, English Teaching, Morality Teaching, Khmer Teaching, other training with NGO partner, and business training included provided sewing machines at the end of the promotion.
After Teacher's report, the student and parent representative extended their thankfulness to LHA, Wat, local authority, Park Hyatt Siem Reap Hotel, monks, and everyone who generously involved school running and make the commitment to using their skill in their daily lives to improve their skill and quality of life.
Venerable Lorm Loeurm, the Executive Director also reported about the achievements of LHA in 2015 and left a few messages for the graduate students such as; 1. all students must be good at usage the skill by based on continuous improvement theory which meant that they need to learn more and more from everyone around. 2. Must be a good person in society and 3. Must be resourceful for our society and warmly congratulated for stepping on the new way of life.
Mr. Bruno, the Operational Manager of Park Hyatt Siem Reap Hotel delivered his great congratulations and commit to supporting the school whenever Park Hyatt located in Siem Reap and thank LHA for giving the space for social responsibility of his business.
Mr. Oeun Pov, Seim Reap City deputy governor delivered his warm congratulations for all students and his three great messages; 1. all students should keep the machine that received from school to be a god memory of the first step of successful life, 2. Should try using skill and learning more and more to improve the skill in order to meet the market needs, 3. should be the good person in living, working, communication especially, should try to become the good model woman of achieving the goal of life.
The celebration was finished at 10:30 am in smiling and joyous event for all and take memorial photos together.
