PAGE is one of five projects of life and Hope Association which focus on providing Educational Opportunity to the young girls who studied in high school levels especially, the girls who lived in the remote area around Siem Reap Province to improve the quality of life because we have seen that until now the girls still have big barriers to improving their life such as culture, society, and economics and a little bit opportunity to got education. It was started in 2008.PAGE supports food, accommodation, school uniforms, study materials and equipment, extra educational program, health care, health insurance and looking after during they are in Page.
The criteria for receiving Pages' scholarship:
1. The girls who lived in the remote area or in
2. The poor girls that can not effort to high school because the situation of the family is very difficult to live and support the children to further education beyond junior high school or the family that has ID poor card which offered by the local authority.
3. The vulnerable girls meant that girls who lived in the family that has domestic violence, gambling, alcohol drinking, drug, the child abused, and poor as well.
These three kinds of girl can apply for Pages high school scholarship which always announced from July to September each year on Radio Show, at all Junior Gigh Schools, High Schools, Districts, Communes around Siem Reap Province.
Page not only supports the high school program but also has expanded its support to beyond high school which meant that Page provided University Scholarship to all the girls who successfully finished their high school levels to study at University because we have seen that high school is just first to step on to another step of life, so we set our support program to support them to complete their higher Education to open the space for walk on new way of life that would be better than the previous life.
In short, Page is established for giving the opportunity of change to girls through education and compassionate care.
