Food for Change

Sustainable Community Project-SCP of Life and Hope Association provided food support

to six poor families for xi villages in Peak Sneng Commune, Angkor Thom District, Siem Reap Province in the aim of promoting school attendance to all children from those families to receive the education because we believe that education is the best way to step down from poverty and improve the quality of life.

"We always provided food support every month to these families in order to make the exchange with families vs use their children to make money and send them to school to get the education" Mr. Van Ratha. the learning and Development Officer and the project Coordinator said. "We love and worry about the future of these children and we want them to have  a good way of developing themselves by creating the space for their education" he added.

 "Ï want to study and I want to have a good job and have more money to support my parents, brothers and sister, and want to have a big home for my family" Beus Sum, 10 years old boy said,  " I thank you a lot LHA that given me incredible support, wish you succeed forever" he added.

"Thank you so much for the helpful support, after my family got this support I have more time to make the profit to support my family and my family get better from day to day" Mr. Chhun Cheas, the family that got support from SCP said.
