24 October 2015 Program Advancing Girls Education-PAGE celebrated Inauguration Ceremony for New Library Building under the great honoring of venerable Nal Chhum, the honoring precedence of Life and Hope Association and the Wat Damnak's Leader and Deputy Director of Department of Education Youth and Sport and participated by local authority, all project coordinators, school principal, teachers, sewing students, Page students and friends in order to open our library for free reading of all students in Page and also all students outside Page who want to do the research and reading book to improve their education quality.
The celebration started at 8:00 am in the morning with national anthem and Building Activities and Financial Report which reported by Mr. Van Ratha, the Learning and Development Officer and after that welcome remark and speech by Venerable Lorm Loeurm, the Executive Director of Life and Hope Association on the goal of building the library such as; 1 to create loving book culture to all people especially to the young generation, 2. To build comfortable environment for our Pages' student for strengthening their quality of Education, 3. To motivate our young generation to do the research because the research is the soul of the development of the way of thinking and the last is to create the opportunity for poor students to improve their future of life. at the ned of his speech, he extends his thankfulness and gratefulness to all donors especially, GO Campaign which always given great and helpful support.
The last, Mr. Channy, the Deputy Director of Department of Education Youth and Sport share his impression and thanks to LHA and donors for building this good library for students and he shared his messages to all participants especially, all students who joining this event such as 1. Learning can be done everywhere and whenever we concentrate for learning because everything is our lesson or the object of learning, 2. Technology is very modern we can study everything just in our pocket meant that if we have one smartphone we can learn many things in a smartphone but we have to be clever in using it to positive change for our life. 3. all students should study hard and hard because the market competition is very high from year to year and we need to adapt ourselves to integrate into ASEAN Market at the end of 2015. and the last, he said thank again to all participants and opening the new library with group photo together.
The celebration ended in happy and smiling.
